Registration deadline: November 4, 2009!

Out of all students who submit solutions to the preliminary challenge, the top 100 will be selected and they will participate in the national competition on November 20, 2009 in Sofia.

Note! The organizers of the competition cover the hotel accommodation for one night of participating students and their accompanying teachers on November 19, as well as breakfast and lunch on November 20. The travel expenses are to be covered by the participants themselves.

The Skills@Work competition is a joint project of British Council and Junior Achievement. In Bulgaria it is held with the official partnership of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Science and with the support of Microsoft Bulgaria. It is based on the model of innovation camps of Junior Achievement where studetns gather to think over a business challenge and propose ideas for solutions. The participants have only a couple of hours to work and access to computers and Internet which is their main source of information. The members of the teams may not know each other, thus they have to quickly find a way to work smoothly together so that they can be effective.
